Fra papir til mennesker

The history of the Papir Island stretches back more than 300 years as a naval ship yard. Today, most Copenhageners remember this period of paper storage for the printing of newspapers, which gave the island its current title: THE PAPER ISLAND.

THE PAPER ISLAND presents innovative architecture by the award-winning Danish architectural studio Cobe and a new water-culture center designed by the world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
